ALCS Series Game

Today's post is brought to you by Attorney Gerry Lemire. Why you ask?
He's the one responsible for sending Jake and I to Fenway Park for game 2 of the ALCS playoffs between the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians.

It started out with a brief on-camera appearance with NESN's pre-game show. Yup, standing right behind Dennis Eckersley and Jerry Remy was Jacob with his "Go Tribe" poster and his Dad cheering for the Red Sox.

With awesome seats just to the right of home plate and an incredibly close game until the 11th this was a game to remember!
It was a night where both teams had tremendous starting pitchers: Curt Schilling for the Red Sox and Fausto Carmone for the Indians.

Since both starting pitchers struggled it was also a night to see virtually all of both team's relievers. In fact, 5 hours and 14 minutes after an 8pm game start we left with Jacob grinning ear to ear and Dad just tired and ready for the Sox to win another day.

In case you can't see the photo - a 7 run 11th inning put the game away. Sox score 1 more in the bottom of the 11th.
Cleveland Wins 13 - 7.

Thank you Gerry - a probable once-in-a-lifetime event!!!
